The beginnings of a War
I’m not sure really what just happened… 4 days ago I had an idea, and the people pictured below made that vision come alive tonight. It was the beginning of what will be a campaign to drive the next stage of development and production for Night Is Electric, a band I’ve been a fan of for so long, and now have to opportunity to help out with as they work towards a new frontier. I’m thankful and fortunate to have their support, passion, and participation in the vision for their campaign. Stay tuned for more in the near future.
The Lift in Dubuque Iowa
I don’t think the tour with Bailiff could have ended in a more intimate and interesting setting. The Lift or The Busted Lift, not sure which is the most proper to call it, felt underground, literally. With exposed rock walls, and two full service bars and a unique stage and backdrop. The setting and energy in the bar that night was one I think most people there won’t forget. Shortly after arriving we discovered the locals in the bar that night lost a very dear friend who was just at the bar the night before, that said we knew this show would be one for the books. Overall, we had a great time, experience, and from the people dancing, guys hanging off the ceiling, and the crowds response, Bailiff put on a great show. The room sounded great and I personally look forward to the next time I’ll be able to stop in and have another couple drinks in such a fun speakeasy like setting. Here are the last two shots I took from the tour!
NEWaukee
Just a few weeks ago I had the pleasure of hoping in an SUV on a weekday and driving five hours north to Milwaukee for an outdoor festival event geared toward revitalizing a section of Milwaukee thats been neglected over the past several years. The event was put on by a group of people who call their movement and company NEWaukee.
The trip was an overall success, exhausting, intentionally fun, and completely worth it. There was plenty of time for us to bond and share ideas with one another. It was a blast and I can’t wait till our next trip!
